Tasting Notes
A bright, clear red, emitting the graceful sparkle you’d hope for from a Bourgogne Rouge of finesse. Hinting at vibrant purity and elegance. The bouquet presents enticing bright red fruits, think cherry, raspberry, and cranberry, exuding perfumed freshness and a gentle mineral lift.
On the palate, the wine is light-bodied and dynamic. Marked by linear structure, high acidity, and fine, lacy tannins. It offers ‘Chambolle’ energy, an elegant intensity that feels both refined and expressive of terroir. Expect a graceful minerality woven through calm, focused red fruit.
Antonio Galloni awarded it 91 points, describing it as “vivid red fruit and fine structure with gentle grip on the finish,” noting its village-level quality. This is a Burgundian red that transcends its appellation: refined, perfumed, with expressive red fruit and structural poise. It’s charming now, but built to age.
