The cellar is located in a 24-hour guarded security business park in a safe area of Cape Town’s Southern Suburbs. Rueda Wine Co. offers that our client’s wines can either be collected from our warehouses or delivered directly their homes, nationwide.
receiving and withdrawing your wine
Our clients are encouraged to direct all wine orders directly to our cellars. Once wine is received it is automatically processed directly into our clients’ live and 24/7 viewable cellar. Wine in our cellars is withdrawn by contacting our cellar team via email or telephone directly. Our cellaring service is both specialised and efficient thus allowing us to offer a turnaround time within 24 hours of your withdrawal request when placed during working hours.

Our clients’ wine is kept in a thermal-insulated warehouse at a constant temperature of 14 degrees celsius and humidity between 55% – 70%. The Rueda Wine Co. cellaring conditions are recorded hourly with the data being stored on the cloud. Condition reports will be provided to clients on a monthly basis upon request. The live and historic data can be retrieved and displayed on request. The warehouse is protected using a camera and alarm system monitoring both the inside and outside the warehouses. Each warehouse has a single entry/exit point which is protected using reinforced steel bars. Access to the cellar is restricted only to authorised personnel.

The Rueda Wine Co. cellaring team comprises of experienced managers, cataloguers and packers. Our clients have direct access via mobile and email to contact our cellar manager to process withdrawals, raise any queries or flag wines that may be coming in.
