Eisen & Viljoen is an elegant, complex, fruit-driven, Bordeaux-style red blend with a refined structure made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot grapes grown in selected portions on specific blocks on our estate.
Tasting Notes
Mint and beefy notes intertwine with plum and spice. Very long and special! Stand upright before serving (the longer the better), due to their age and sediment. Quite chunky rustic at first, it evolves to amazing depth and complexity! Don’t decant too long, rather allow the wines to change in a large Bordeaux glass over time.
