Tasting Notes

Black fruits, black cherries, and minty, spicy aromas fill the nose with radiance. The palate is robust, well-structured, and displays the excellent tannic precision.

Currently, the premium wood is still audible along with flowery undertones and a faint hint of acacia. Perfect harmony, rich and luscious, finished with chewy, lingering tannins.

Technical Details

Quality has soared since the 1980s, and it is considered one of the most dependable wines in Bordeaux, gaining regular praise for its reasonable pricing. Langoa Barton is Cabernet Sauvignon-dominant, tannic and austere when young but develops intense blackcurrant and cassis notes, as well as classic Saint-Julien cedar characteristics.

Blend: 53.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 38% Merlot, 8.5% Cabernet Franc.
