This wine was made with minimal interference, no additions barring some sulphites, and has the potential to age for 30+ years.
Tasting Notes
Plenty of wet stone minerality, fresh citrus and tropical fruit flavours. Hints of spice for the oak aging. Long, lingering creamy peach finish. This wine perfectly demonstrates the intention to create a true South African style, instead of copying styles across the world, carefully aimed at creating something unlike any other available styles world wide.
A unique blend of terroirs rather than just a blend of varietals, the blend will always stay the same: Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Chenin Blanc. Each vintage can consist of 8-15 vineyards per bottle.
