Winemaking and Maturation
The wine undergoes a natural fermentation process, with some parcels including whole bunches for added complexity. Matured for 11 months in 228L French oak barrels, with only 5% new oak used to preserve the freshness of the fruit. The wine is not fined or filtered.
Tasting Notes
The Walker Bay Pinot Noir offers aromas of ripe red berries such as cherry, raspberry, and strawberry, accompanied by subtle floral notes and a touch of spice. On the palate, it presents a smooth and medium-bodied texture with fresh acidity and fine tannins, supported by earthier undertones and a lingering finish.
