Sakkie Mouton Full on Misfit White Blend 2023
Vineyards
The 2023 Full on Misfit is a blend of four different vineyards close to the Atlantic Ocean. The vineyards stretch from Vredendal to Koekenaap.
Winemaking and Maturation
Grapes are picked and cooled overnight. Whole bunch pressed and spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel and 500-litre barrels.
After 9 months in the barrel, the final blend was made up and left for another month in the blended form to settle.
Tasting Notes
Floral, lime, yellow fruits, minerals, Kelp. On the mouth, there is an intense sensation of saltiness with hints of lime and grapefruit coming through.

70% Chenin blanc, 20% Palomino, 6% Colombar and 4% Assyrtiko
