ALINEA BY NATASHA JACKA
Natasha Jacka sources her grapes from various regions across the Western Cape, focusing on pockets of special vineyards. Her wines are made in small, high-quality batches reflecting their site and unique origin.
Winemaking is kept simple – foot-treading, minimal sulphur and old oak. The range of wine incorporates Sauvignon Blanc from St. Helena Bay, Carignan from the Breedekloof and Grenache and Viura from Paarl. There are two more special blocks of wine that Natasha planted stok-by-paaltjie in Noordhoek, one Syrah and one a field blend of Grenache Blanc, Verdelho, Chenin Blanc, Colombar, Roussanne and Semillon. Both blocks are meticulously and organically farmed, reflecting her commitment to sustainable practices.
The Alinea project is exciting, the wines are superb, and we believe there is much more to come!
