Antoine Jobard

Domaine Antoine Jobard is one of Meursault’s most formidable estates. Since taking the reins from his father François Jobard, Antoine has refined the style without losing the domaine’s defining signature: structure, tension, and longevity.

The holdings include some of Meursault’s most distinguished Crus – Genevrières, Poruzots, and Charmes – alongside superb village parcels. Farming is rigorous and increasingly sustainable, with meticulous vineyard work forming the foundation of quality.

In the cellar, Antoine’s approach is deliberate and exacting. Fermentations proceed naturally with indigenous yeasts, and élevage is long, typically around 20 months, with restrained new oak. The wines are bottled without unnecessary intervention.

What defines Antoine Jobard is tension. These are Meursaults of line and energy rather than overt richness. Citrus peel, crushed stone, almond, and subtle reduction frame wines that demand patience. In youth, they can seem reserved; with time, they reveal extraordinary depth and complexity.

Production is limited, and the wines are built for the cellar. This is classical Meursault – serious, structured, and profoundly age-worthy.
