LA GRANGE TIPHAINE
Wines of Precision and Elegance, Delicately Crafted in Amboise
La Grange Tiphaine is a beautiful 17-hectare domaine owned and run by Damien and Coralie Delecheneau. The domaine is based in the Loire Valley with the core holdings in Amboise and Montlouis-Sur-Loire. Damien is the fifth generation tending to this ancestral land, however, very differently to that of his predecessors.
Damien and Coralie converted to organic farming practices and then biodynamic by the late 2000s. The wines of La Grange Tiphaine have continued to go from strength to strength, making truly top-quality, delicately handcrafted wines. The wines express terroir to the maximum extent. In the vineyard and the winery, a minimalist approach is embraced, with minimal amounts of additives and intervention. There is a core focus on sustainable practices too, using horses instead of tractors, recycled water and minimising waste.
Coralie and Damien share in almost all aspects of their work, producing roughly 85,000 bottles per year, each with its unique personality. The wines are characterised by precise elegance from six different varieties; Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Malbec (Côt), Cabernet Franc, Gamay and Grolleau.
