PRIEURE ROCH

Created in 1988 by Henry Frédéric Roch, the Domaine Prieuré Roch today comprises roughly twenty hectares spread over the multi-secular terroirs of Gevrey-Chambertin, Vosne-Romanée, Vougeot, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Ladoix and Savigny-les-Beaune.

A rarity in Burgundy, the estate owns three of the most prestigious Clos monopoles: Clos des Corvées (5 hectares in Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru), Clos des Varoilles (6 hectares in Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru), and the exceptional Clos Goillotte (0.55 hectares in Vosne-Romanée), which was previously the private vineyard of the Prince of Conti.

Led by Yannick Champ and his team according to the spirit instilled by Henry Frédéric Roch since 1988, the estate does not use any synthetic product in the vineyard or the winery, working both organically and biodynamically.

The Prieuré Roch wines are pure and sensual, the fruit of extreme work and attention to detail in the vines and winery.  Vinification is done with whole bunches and without the addition of sulphites. These wines have acquired worldwide renown and are among the greatest producers in the world.

Each bottle is a rare tasting event.
