ROC BREIA

Theo, from Domaine Vincent Dancer, has worked with his father, Vincent, and taken up the reins in whole at the flagship domaine. Alongside this work, Theo has created two super exciting additional projects, Maison Theo Dancer and Roc Breïa, a negociant business exploring savagnin, aligote, grenache and gamay, and a winery in the Mâconnais further exploring Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The wines of both projects really speak to the ethos of what Vincent and Theo stand for, wines of purity, transparency and complexity along with the electricity of a hyper talented young winemaker.

Roc Breia is located in the Bray area of Macon, comprised of 10.5 hectares of vineyards. The soils are traditional, being a blend of clay, silt and limestone, with roughly 3 hectares planted to Chardonnay and 7 hectares planets to Pinot Noir with vines planted between the 1950s to 1970s. The Roc Breia wines respect the tradition of the flagship Domaine and honour what has traditionally been done in the cellar. All wines are treated equally, allowing the greatest expression of terroir. Work in the vineyard is paramount to the quality of the fruit that enters the winery.
