TIM HILLOCK WINES
Tim’s family bought a small farm on the Kasteelberg in 2009. 11 years later a cellar was built, which is currently shared between Donovan (Rall Wines), Jolandie (Wolf and Woman Wines) and himself.
His passion is Syrah and Chenin Blanc although a few select vineyards are too special to pass up. He takes a “hands-off” approach in the winery unless something requires attention.
He doesn’t feel the need to justify his position as a winemaker by being hyperactive in the cellar. Ultimately the vineyard and the resulting wine must do the talking.
