Vineyards
Ampuis, Côte-Rôtie, northern Rhône, France. Fruit from several sites, including Côte Blonde, Le Champin, Leyat and Fongeant, is blended into the estate’s single Côte-Rôtie cuvée.
Winemaking and Maturation
The grapes are fully destemmed before fermentation. The estate matures its Côte-Rôtie in predominantly used oak barrels, allowing the different vineyard parcels to come together before bottling.
Tasting Notes
Blackcurrant, pepper and a floral lift give this Syrah its classic northern Rhône character. A substantial tannin structure supports the fruit, with savoury detail on the finish.
