Domaine de la Romanée-Conti need no introduction or explanation. The farming and vineyard practices are biodynamic. In the cellar, there is no compromise, and very classically whole-bunch fermentation occurs.
Tasting Notes
"This wine has a deep ruby colour. The nose is reminiscent of intensely perfumed rose petals and pure freshly picked red berries. There are concentrated layers of fruit, chocolate and spice. It is very complex on the palate, with firm tannins and a racy acidity.
The full body, elegant finish and excellent structure indicate that this beautifully balanced wine has a seriously long future. Excellent quality, one to hide away for a while." - Tom Cannavan
