The fruit for this wine comes from one of the greatest vineyards in Barbaresco – Bricco di Neive, from the slightly younger vines – 20 years old, vinified in the same way as the Barbaresco – you know what that means. This is supreme quality for a fraction of the price, an absolutely superb wine.
Winemaking and Maturation
FERMENTATION AND MACERATION: in steel tanks at a controlled temperature
AGING: 5 months in steel and 5 months in Slavonian oak barrels
Tasting Notes
Medium to full-bodied, with cherry, wild strawberry, flowers, marzipan, fennel, and spice notes. This wine combines both power and elegance, fruit and earth, with such precision and “deliciousness.”
