Vineyards
Chavanay, Saint-Joseph, northern Rhône, France. Syrah grows on granite soils in the northern part of the appellation, close to the estate’s home in Condrieu.
Winemaking and Maturation
The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented in vats. Maturation in oak barrels rounds out the tannins while keeping the wine’s fruit and spice in focus.
Tasting Notes
Dark berries, liquorice and pepper define the cuvée’s character. A savoury palate and a clear line of freshness give this Saint-Joseph shape, with spice lingering on the finish.
