Edouard Confuron

Rueda Wine Co. is the exclusive South African representative for Édouard Confuron.

Working with RWC since 2022.

Édouard Confuron comes from a winemaking family in Vosne-Romanée and developed his experience alongside his father at Domaine Confuron-Gindre. His own project began with family vineyards in 2021, giving him the opportunity to develop a distinct approach within the Côte de Nuits.

The wines include Pinot Noir from regional and village appellations, with vineyards around Vosne-Romanée, Gevrey-Chambertin and Nuits-Saint-Georges. Whole berries and whole bunches are among the tools used to shape perfume and texture. The emphasis is on delicacy and clear fruit expression, allowing the differences between the sites to remain apparent.
