Vineyards
Nebbiolo made from grapes grown in Olek’s "front yard", planted fifty years ago by his family. The "front yard" is very luckily one of the greatest crus in Barbaresco - Roncagliette.
Exposed South. Its firm clay-limestone soils lend Nebbiolo power and finesse.
Winemaking and Maturation
The wine spent two months on skins before being pressed off to old botti for two years. In the vines, Olek works organically and with a real hands-on approach, whilst in the cantina, he works without fuss, exhibiting a patience beyond his years. The results are pure, deep and decidedly old-school expressions of Piedmont’s local grapes.
