product description

Pascal Doquet Arpège Premier Cru Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs NV

Vineyards

Côte des Blancs, Champagne, France. Pascal sources Chardonnay from Vertus, Villeneuve and Mont Aimé. Chalk and flint-bearing soils contribute to the distinctive character of this Premier Cru Blanc de Blancs. Vineyard details

Winemaking and Maturation

Pascal combines Chardonnay from several harvests, using reserve wines to build depth and continuity. He works with tanks and older oak barrels during vinification, then allows the wine to develop on its lees. Bottle fermentation creates the mousse, while the Extra Brut dosage keeps the finish dry and precise. Production details

Tasting Notes

Pear and citrus mingle with floral notes, gentle spice and a subtle smoky character. Fine bubbles lend delicacy to the palate, while fresh acidity gives the wine energy. Toasted nuances add depth to a dry, mineral finish.
