Tasting Notes
A wine with restrained aromas of pencil shaving, cigar box, spices and cassis. The wine develops additional nuances in the glass. The classically dry palate has a seamless balance between fruit purity and tannin austerity with medium acidity. The 2009 vintage is possibly one the best of the past 25 years, and this wine will steadily develop over the next 10 to 15 years.
